CERTH participated in 2018 researchers’ night that took place in Thessaloniki and showcased a V4Design demo. The event was very successful and attracted approximately 3200 visitors overall . Visitors had the chance to have a “Living the past” experience through a Virtual Reality demonstration of a walk in a historic square, the Berlin Gendarmenmarkt, in different time periods. This way, part of the project’s preliminary results was disseminated to the public and many people of all ages had the opportunity to interact with the technologies that have been developed in the context of the project so as to find out more about our research.
